Getting Started

Listing your first car on Autreino takes about 5 minutes if you have your photos and paperwork ready. This guide walks you through every field so the listing looks polished and converts buyers from day one.

Before you start

Have these ready:

  • 6 to 12 photos of the car (exterior, interior, tyres, odometer, engine bay).
  • The RC book — you'll need the year, RTO, fuel type and ownership info.
  • Your asking price and the lowest you would accept.

Step 1 — Brand, model, variant

Pick the brand and model from the dropdown. The variant field is optional but extremely valuable — buyers filter by variant when comparing cars (e.g., "Maruti Swift VXI" vs "Maruti Swift ZXI Plus").

Step 2 — Year, KM driven, fuel, transmission

Be exact. Buyers cross-check your KM against the odometer photo, so any mismatch kills trust.

Step 3 — Photos

The first photo is the cover image. Make it your single best exterior shot. Some tips:

  • Shoot in soft daylight (early morning or just before sunset).
  • Avoid harsh midday shadows.
  • Park against a clean background (a plain wall, not a cluttered showroom).
  • Crop tight — the car should fill 80% of the frame.

Step 4 — Description

Write 2 to 4 sentences about the car's history. Honesty wins:

  • "Single-owner, all services done at authorised centre, no accidents."
  • "Recently replaced battery and tyres — bills available."

Step 5 — Features

Tick the features your car has — ABS, airbags, sunroof, touchscreen, reverse camera. These appear as filterable badges on your storefront.

Step 6 — Price and status

Set your asking price (10-15% above your minimum to leave room for negotiation). Set status to "Active" and click Save.

That's it. Your car appears on your storefront within 30 seconds and starts getting views.
